How a call works
You call and describe the symptom. That conversation matters more than it sounds. A bang then a heavy door, a hum with no movement, a door hanging crooked and a remote that stopped working are four different parts, and knowing which one you have means the truck arrives carrying it.
You get an arrival window rather than a vague day. The tech inspects, measures and shows you the failed part. Then you get the full price, in your driveway, before a wrench comes out. If you want to think about it, that is fine and the quote stands.
Work goes ahead once you say yes. Most repairs finish in the same visit because springs in common wire sizes, lift cables, nylon rollers, hinges, drums, sensors, gear kits and complete openers ride on the truck.
What we do before leaving
Every visit ends with the same routine, whether we came for a spring or a squeak.
The door gets a balance test with the opener disconnected, because a door the springs have not balanced properly will kill the next opener too. Cables get checked along their full length. Hardware gets torqued. Rollers and hinges get looked at and serviced. Sensors get squared and set at six inches. The opener force settings get matched to the door and auto-reverse gets tested against a solid object on the floor. That is the 25 point check, and it is on every invoice.
Then the driveway gets swept and the old parts leave with us.

Where we work
Plano is the middle of it. From there we cover West and East Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Richardson and The Colony. Keeping the patch tight is deliberate, because a same-day window is only worth promising if the driving supports it.
The housing out here shapes the work. Nearly every home has a two or three car garage, which means two doors, two openers and twice as many things that can fail. Attached garages run brutally hot through a North Texas summer and drop below freezing in January, and that swing is hard on spring steel. Spring hail dents door faces most years. The one thing we will not help you do
Garage door springs are under serious tension and a broken one still holds dangerous energy. We will talk you through releasing the opener, securing an open door and getting a car out safely. We will never talk a homeowner through adjusting, unwinding or replacing a spring. That work needs winding bars, training and someone standing in the right place.

Staying inside it is what makes same-day arrival windows realistic, because nobody is driving an hour between jobs. If you are just outside it, call and ask. We will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.
Do you charge for an estimate?
Quotes on new doors and openers are free, and we will measure and price them at your house with no obligation. On a repair call there is a diagnostic fee for the visit, which you hear on the phone before we dispatch, and it is credited against the work if you go ahead on the day.
Will the price change once work starts?
No. The number you agree in the driveway is the number on the invoice. If the tech opens something up and finds a second problem, work stops and you get a separate price for that before anything else happens. You are always the one deciding what gets done.
Do you work on commercial doors?
Small commercial roll-ups and sectional doors on light industrial units, yes. Springs, cables, openers, operators and panel work are all the same trade. Very large dock doors and high cycle industrial operators sit outside what we carry, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than turning up and charging you for the trip.
